About our signature Coconuts Perfume…
We're nuts for coconuts but couldn't find the perfect coconut perfume to save our lives. Everything we came across had some other tropical, fruity notes but we wanted this perfume to smell like an expensive vacation. Chic, bright, warm, addictive. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
Luckily our friend and master perfumer Jean Claude Delville and The Society of Scent were there to help. We worked closely together for over a year to create COCONUTS. We went through tons of iterations to get it just right and we think we nailed it.
Notes include: pure toasted coconut, a touch of fig, yellow orchid, vanilla flower, Sandalwood, Orris Root, soft Musk and a tiny hint of citrus zest for sparkle.
Bonus: Our perfume is 100% cruelty-free (bc we have a deep love & care for animals).
FAQ regarding our fragrance:
Are fragrances safe ?
Yes, fragrance products are safe. The Fragrance Industry Worldwide is regulated by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA), an organization created in 1973. IFRA establishes the standards for fragrance materials, limiting or prohibiting the use of ingredients, based on the findings of the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials, inc. (RIFM). RIFM is a non-profit corporation created in 1966 and stands as the international scientific authority for the safe use of fragrance materials. All our products are formulated to comply with the most recent IFRA standards and regulations. IFRA certificates for our products are available upon request at thesocietyofscent.info.
What about allergies?
Like certain food ingredients, fragrance materials may trigger allergies even when they come directly from nature. In fact, the highest number of potential allergens are in essential oils! It is practically impossible to create an allergen-free/100% natural fragrance. There is a lot of misinformation on this subject, and the bottom line is that if you notice rashes on your skin when using a particular fragrance, you should either spray it exclusively on your clothes or stop using it. If the allergic reaction is respiratory, common sense dictates that you stop using the product, and maybe even stop wearing any type of fragrance, as there is no good way to anticipate which fragrance is going to trigger an allergy or not. The unfortunate truth is that you being allergic is not necessarily a problem with the way the product is designed or the quality and safety of its materials. To dive deeper into the subject of safety as it pertains to allergies, the European commission has made it mandatory for any brand sold in Europe to label 26 recognized allergens present in a scented product, and although we sell our brands in the U.S. only, we have decided to follow this policy

NOTE: While we always like to ensure that our products are sent to you in their best form, there may be rare instances of leakage with our fragrance. Because our Coconuts perfume has such a high oil content, any bit of oil on the neck of the bottle can prevent the cap from tightening all the way. We recommend wiping down this part of the bottle every so often to fully seal the cap & prevent any potential leakage.
